Students will work as an ensemble through improv games, scene work, and exercises focused on listening, commitment, character, and making bold choices. The class gives them room to trust their instincts, take creative risks, recover when an idea goes sideways, and create something genuinely funny together, with no scripts or pressure to already be funny. No prior experience is required. Parents and caregivers are invited to watch the final class and see the ensemble share some of the games and scenes they have developed.

In this one-hour drop-in, students will warm up as a group, play fast-moving improv games, and put those skills to work in scenes. They’ll practice accepting offers, making clear choices, building characters, and working with scene partners. It’s a low-pressure way to try Blurt and get a taste of how longform improv works. No prior experience is required.
